La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Pittsburgh AirportI will completely agree that this is a dog friendly hotel (including not having any extra charge for having a pet), which is convenient to the airport, restaurants, and Pittsburgh in general. However, the hotel is run down, unkept, smelly, and dirty. I also waited for 5 to 10 minutes for the front desk lady to finish her cigarette before she came to check me in. The room smelled as bad as a kennel. We had to ask for towels because housekeeping didn’t service our room. And some of the other guests didn’t clean up after their dogs outside. I would rather be up-charged to bring a dog to a more expensive hotel than stay at this hotel again. The only reason I am not giving 1 bone for the rating is because the hotel IS dog friendly, and that is the only reason.

A Cultural & Environmental Center
Robin Hill ParkWe didn’t walk the trails that sit on 144 acres because they were wet and muddy at the time but we walked around the front of the property and looked at historical brick buildings, the log cabin, the gazebo, and the Fleur de Lune Garden. It was nicely shaded and an enjoyable short walk. The trails offer numerous loops of varying distances.
