High pet fee
Best Western Plus Ramkota HotelBW Ramkota was one of the nicest of the economical hotels we have stayed at. Very clean, comfortable beds, good water pressure and nice breakfast. The grassy areas for the dogs were great. My only complaint would be the $30 pet fee is high for one pet but reasonable for 2 pets. It's the same rate for both. We travel with a large and a small dog so it was perfect for us.

Great view and pet friendly!
Best Western Ptarmigan LodgePlenty of space and walking paths for the dogs. We had a terrific view of the lake and sunset. The room was ok - clean enough but the dogs were sniffing the carpet for other dog's mistakes. The bar next door had food. It was offseason so the rate was good and hotel was quiet.

Wonderful but expensive
La Quinta by Wyndham MoabAt least this LQ is not yet charging a pet fee. There's a large grassy area and trails for dogs. The room was clean and spacious with an easy chair. Good shower pressure. I used Wyndham rewards but would not stay again if I had to pay full price. It is Moab so price reflects that.

Excellent value
Days Inn by Wyndham Grand Island I-80Check-in with friendly and helpful Dave who later called our room to make sure all was good. There are multiple small grassy areas for the pups. Secure entrance, good lighting and clean public areas. The double room was clean and comfy. Carpet had some prior dog damage (snagged areas) but acceptable. The room could use handy USB ports. Location right off I-80 but was fairly quiet. Would stay again.

One of the best
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Fargo-Medical CenterLQ's are not all the same and this one is one of the best we've stayed at (avoid Omaha!). Lots of grassy areas all around the hotel and parking lot for the dogs. Clean, spacious rooms. Would have preferred a 1st floor room but got a 3rd floor room and had no issue with the elevators. A little noisy at night but expected as it was a youth baseball weekend. Rate was good too.

Clean but lacking
Days Inn by Wyndham North PlatteNo area for dogs except a ditch between the parking lot and street. Room was remodeled some time ago but quality is lacking. Comfortable and clean and easy access from car to an interior room. The area seemed a bit sketchy. Skimpy breakfast. Dog fee was $15 each - I would expect some grassy area with that fee. We had two dogs.

What happened to this hotel?
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Albuquerque MidtownWe stayed hear 6 years ago and raved to everyone how clean it was and it had an enclosed grassy area for dogs. Hope my friends aren't questioning my judgement! This time, the hallways were dirty and worn, rooms also. The grassy area in back needed mowing - at least a week ago! The area is sketchy and we were worried about our car possibly getting broken into. The front clerks were great but in the morning when we saw FAUX News on the lobby tv, no way would we frequent this hotel again, even if it had been nicer.
