The outside seating area is lovely, the food is delicious, and the staff truly loves dogs!

The room was very big and had a balcony overlooking a view of Bar Harbor. You have access to the pool and fitness center at the Bluenose Inn next door. There are plenty of spots for your dog to walk/go, and there is a restaurant with serviceable breakfast food and a great view too. Dogs aren’t allowed inside the restaurant though, only on the deck, so if you’ve got kids and a dog and it’s raining, you might have to get creative. The free island bus stops right at the motel and takes you and your dog into town. If you want to walk instead, it’s about a 10 minute walk downtown. There’s a laundromat and vending machines on site. There is also a cute little courtyard for kids/dog to play. Overall a great spot with a laid back vibe!
