Our family is visiting Erie for the weekend. We shaped our vacation around our buddy Apollo. We had a great time walking around the lawn art!
Park by the Buzz Box off the road. Make sure to look in the Buzz box!
It was a short stop in our adventures but I'm so glad we went by! Apollo was a fan.

My family and I planned a mini vacation to Erie, around our dog Apollo. Using BringFido as a guide. We stayed at The Red Rood PLUS+ & Suites Erie. We stayed in a Suite 3 Queen Beds with Kitchenette. There were three beds, a kitchenette, a refrigerator, a stove top, kitchen sink, a few pots and pans, a TV for each room (2), and the bathroom basics. There isn't a door that separates the two rooms, the bathroom is in one side and the kitchenette is in the other. Basic amenities but the beds were comfortable. Apollo had easy access, leashed of course, to a grassy area to do his business. There isn't any carpet so even if there is an accident it could easily be cleaned up.
The staff was very friendly. Anytime I went past a staff member, at the desk or in the hallways, no one looked miserable as staff sometimes do in hotels. There was a blonde lab at the front desk that greeted me when I checked in, so cute! This was my first time staying in a Red Roof in many many years, and I am very happy we did. Apollo had a great vacation with the family. We will stay again the next time we come to Erie.
