Annie’s Mom

We took the ferry round trip for an excursion. Annie loved all the attention she got on board. Their website says the animals must stay on deck, but there is an indoor pet friendly area for them to sit as well. It was just windy enough that the indoor area was very welcomed.

Our dog Annie loves beach. This park allowed her to get off leash and run and play. Lots of obstacles and sand mountains to play on. Annie gives it four paws review.

The staff were very welcoming and gave our Annie a biscuit. There was a water dish for thirsty dogs. Annie loved shopping in their gift shop. The control tower inside was high enough to see all the displays. Annie had a wonderful time exploring. Across the street there is a Vietnam Museum with lots of equipment outside to explore as well. The $16 admission well spent funds.

Captain Brent was a wonderful host and gave lots of info about the towns and the people along the rivers. Highly recommend the cruise. Our basset had a wonderful time on board.

The town of New Bern is very dog friendly. The Birthplace of Pepsi is a free museum and welcomes dogs. The staff were super friendly and Annie Mae had a great visit. She especially liked all the belly rubs and touring their gift shop.

Captain Quinn is so accommodating and dog friendly. He adapted the tour for us knowing our unfamiliarity with the region. We saw lots of wildlife, Cormorans, Pelicans, Alligators, Dolphins and more. It was a beautiful day and our dog Annie had a great time.
