Only 2 miles off Rte 90
Green Roof InnLots of grassy areas to walk dogs, spacious rooms, low pet fee, and reasonable rates overall. Also picnic tables (and fish cleaning tables and room for parking big boats, and ability to rent by the week as well as by day). It’s a family owned place and if you call outside of 12-6, you get a call back. Looking forward to returning. So much more reasonable than all the Erie, PA hotels and just 20 minutes or so west of Erie.
Good value and dog friendly
Cobblestone Hotel & Suites HarborcreekDog friendly hotels were hard to find this august. We were happy to find this one (reserving ahead). Friendly staff, comfortable bed, and nice large grassy area. My dog and I did 3 laps around the hotel, grass all the way. $25 pet fee. Note limited to dogs <40lbs. Only downside was lack of elevator. So we had to carry luggage and crate up to 2nd floor.
Newly renovated and clean
Motel 6 Erie PANever stayed at a Motel 6 before but it was the most affordable dog friendly motel with an open room. Our room had new furnishings and fixtures, freshly painted walls and it was so convenient to park car in front of door. Only downside was no breakfast. I’d stay again.
