*Rating based on poor signage*
Sign at parking lot states no dogs, but upon further reading it states “not in lighthouse” so we were able to bring our dogs all the way up to the lighthouse - we kept them off the stairs.
Clearer signage here would be a plus. Because it’s worth the visit even without going into the lighthouse.
(Our visit was on a Monday afternoon, maybe that makes a difference)

Great historical site to visit where your dogs are allowed (just not in the building-grounds only). The views are worth the stop and plenty of room for you and your dogs to explore.

Love the stunning view and that my pups are welcome. Worth the stop!

Took the peek at Portland trolley tour and Lighthouse lovers tour and both were great with awesome tour guides. More than dog friendly, dog lovers! Made sure to not only ask her name but checked in during both tours on how she was doing! 🐾

I loved the whole idea of being allowed to take my dog to the beach. it was a great experience and all the dogs I saw were well behaved. It’s a shame more beaches aren’t like this. As others said, parking is extremely limited so be prepared for that. I would absolutely recommend (I liked it so much we went back a second time during our trip to the area.)
