Found Muddy Waters on the App but it looks to be we are the first to review them. The food was delicious and we had a great view of the canal in a beautiful setting. However, the water in the water bowl has been untouched for a while with dirt and bugs mixed in. So as you may guess, the dogs were not happy until we gave them water after eating from the bowl in the car.

the food was fine, but really no frills. This place had no view and expect to do all the work yourself. They don’t seem eager to help anyone and you buss your own table. Not sure why they’d ever expect a tip but in today’s society, don’t not leave a tip. Hard pass next time

Not only were the staff super nice, they were super excited to see our three beagles. Lots to see and sniff and be really safe for dogs. Lots for mom and dad to do as well and they even had free pizza for shoppers. They just got loyal customers who will stop here every time we visit Williamsburg!

I never do this - but I guess there is a first time for everything. Do not go here! Wow, what a waste of time. It took them 15 minutes to take our order and was there another 40 minutes waiting for it before we gave up and left. I went in to ask and they hadn’t even put our order in yet! We originally stopped here because it came up on Bring Fido as a pet friendly place, but frankly there are a number of places who perform well and want our business. Never coming back. PS - the tables were disgusting when we originally sat down.

was able to take the dogs around the entire fort (outside), just couldn’t take them in the historic portions. They were welcome inside the visitor center and gift shop were they were loved on by the staff. :-)
