We just moved to Wisconsin and this is one of our favorite hikes to take our dogs. We have not experienced the dog beach or the summer crowds, but thus far it has it has been relatively very quiet on the trails.
You do have to pay an entrance fee or purchase a State park sticker.
The longest trail is about 3 miles total loop .

Your pet is only allowed to go inside to order with you. The restaurant is located on a busy corner with no outdoor seating or benches. You have to wait outside for your food, since space is limited indoors.
