We ate on the large patio with our two dogs. The location is close to I-80 is very convenient. Our food (chicken salad and a veggie wrap) was fresh and satisfying.
Restaurant is by Ulta, with a patio that faces the parking lot.

We stopped here during two different cross-country drives. The restaurant was a 10-minute detour off the highway, but worth it, as we needed a break from fast food.
It was easy to get street parking, and there’s a parking garage on the same block.
The neighborhood is clean and pleasant. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is upmarket casual, and the patio is spacious, with sun umbrellas and plenty of shade.
The waitstaff is very friendly. The market fresh food came out quickly. Menu highlights were the Caesar Brussels sprouts, scallops, and cocktails. Their burger is good if you want something not-too-exotic and tasty.

The Dolphin has picnic tables in an expansive area with beautiful views of the water. Lots of room for dogs to be comfortable — we saw many diners with dogs.
We watched the sunset and enjoyed delicious salads, scallops, blueberry cocktails, and blueberry muffins.
Only downside is that the wait for a table took awhile, but it was worth it!
