Such a great place to hang out and run around. WARNING: there is a sign at the front that states no toys… We thought it was odd, so just a heads up.

So many opportunities for walking and enjoying nature.

They have added doggy stations with mitts and trash cans recently throughout the campground. There is a large field at the entrance of the campground where we loved to go run, but it surprisingly wasn’t fenced off. There is no off leash area and the sites are very crowded which means limited space to exercise without walking the roads. We rented a golf cart and were bummed that dogs weren’t allowed on them, so no Fido rides on the rentals.

There was a large grassy area at the corner for the dogs to use for a potty break that wasn’t in someone’s site. They also had a nice little fenced in area with poop bags. Not a ton of walking options aside from walking the roads over and over, but that’s okay for a short stay.

So many dog friendly campers here! Only issue we had was some seasonal campers had their dogs off leash, which makes me nervous. We just avoided those areas if possible. Note: rules do say leashes are required.
