We’ve been staying at the Copper Queen when we pass through Ely for 20 years. It’s comfortable, clean, and Friendly always has been. I gave it four bones rather than five because there’s no place on the property for a dog to relieve himself one has to walk across the street or down the block for a spot. Ely can get really cold and windy!

This place is wonderful. My only quibble is that the uncarpeted floor was hard on my old dog. I suppose I should learn to carry a carpet for him. The San Juan Inn isn’t perfect but its legendary status makes it a must stop. Russell and I enjoyed sitting out by the San Juan River and relaxing as night fell. Never pass up a chance to stay here!

The Alaskan Lodge is comfortable, quiet, and beautiful. There are beautiful walks everywhere. Russell was quite happy and highly approved of his night at the Alaskan Lodge! Breakfast was a delight!

Normally I love old school motels, and the Motolodge qualifies. It’s clean and looks updated. It’s downtown within walking distance of everything. It should be perfect, however, there are zero amenities- not even a box of Kleenex. The TV only works in connection with what ever you stream on whatever devices you brought. It’s time consuming to set up. Don’t plan to plop down and watch local news after a long day on the road. There’s no coffee maker. Awful Coffee is served in the lobby at 7:00, late for an early start. The room was tiny but quiet and comfortable. The only spot for Russell to relieve himself was a weedy area between the sidewalk and street. It’s overpriced!!!!!!

The room was small and cluttered. I don’t usually mind a small room but there was no room for Russell to stretch out. Also the back exit near our room didn’t lock, so lax security. Russell woke us in the middle of the night agitated by something and wouldn’t settle down so we all had a sad night’s sleep.

The Stewart Lodge was completely fine for a night in Cle Elum. It’s conveniently located across from Safeway, has piney areas for dog relief, spacious rooms for the finicky sleeper, and is quiet. It’s not the Ritz but it serves its overnight purpose well.

First the food was delicious. The beer was great, and the patio/garden was comfortable. Our dog , Russell, enjoyed the attention of our wonderful server, all the pets, the sniffing, and water dishes everywhere. An enjoyable experience in historic Roslyn, Washington. Cicily, Alaska of the TV show Northern Exposure.. Vegetarian and vegan friendly.

Your dog can come inside. The food is good. Oddly they had no hot sauce for the tacos. The place has a friendly but odd vibe.

Good beer, great pizza and salad in a dog friendly environment. Russell got water, treats, and pets plus friendly sniffs from other dogs on the comfortable patio. Vegetarian options!

The Motel 8 felt dark and yellow. It’s clean but looks old and smells musty. Russell was hesitant to walk in. There wasn’t easy access to a place for Russell to relieve himself. We won’t stay here again, it’s depressing.

This place was super clean and unscented. A lovely, cool place to be a dog with a big fur coat on a hot day in Provo. The hotel has a big shady, grassy backyard that leads to a river walk. Russell was comfortable as was I. The hotel is quiet and has delicious, healthy options at its breakfast buffet.

The much needed cold beer was divine . The patio was comfortable in the 100 degree weather. The staff immediately brought my Aussie, Russell, an ice cold H2O cocktail. Russell made himself comfortable and we were able to enjoy our meal.

This motor inn will do in a pinch. It’s cheap, clean, and minimal. There isn’t a place to walk your dog as the motel is completely surrounded by blacktop, but Walla Walla has some lovely parks you will probably need to drive to.

I like this motel. It’s old and funky in a good way. I like being able to park outside the door and unload. The room was small, clean, and quiet. There was plenty of dog walking area. It was hot, hot, hot! The air conditioning worked just right, not too cold, not too weak. My dog was very comfortable. It’s not perfect -- there is no in room coffee (morning coffee is very close by) but it’s a fine place to stay with a dog.

It was clean, comfortable, cute, cozy (read small ), and warm; perfect for a chilly night in Shasta. My dog was very comfortable. There is a very convenient lawn area for your dog’s comfort. The staff is friendly. The Mexican restaurant across the street was great. The town is charming. I hope to return! 🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶

My dog was comfortable. The room was clean and spacious with a fireplace that smelled strongly of gas unless you opened the sliding glass door. As it was too cold to keep the door open and we were on the street, we forwent the romance of the fireplace. The only thing Victorian about this place was the ultra thin bedding. I woke in the middle of the night freezing. No real place for the dog to relieve himself but giant raised bed planters. Good breakfast. Oh, surprise $17 parking fee in underground garage which was reasonable considering the proximity to everywhere you want to go.

The most dog-friendly place we’ve ever stayed. Clean, comfortable, unscented rooms! Russell had his own bed plus he was welcome in the casino and bar. Friendly staff, lots of outdoor dog space. Will return!

Very clean, cozy. Limited space for potty walks. 🐶🐶🐶🐶

Don’t let that scare you. This hotel is quiet, cozy, clean, unscented, and dog friendly. There is a large scrubby area around the hotel for walks. Russell, the Aussie, was quite comfortable for a night.

An old fashioned theme motel. Clean, crisp, comfortable, and quiet. Small patch of grass for the dog who was quite comfy.

The room was fine, minimal, unscented, but the floor was a laminate that had my old guy slipping and sliding, struggling to get up. The outdoor metal stairs up to the second floor had gaps were the riser should be that scared my old dog. Getting him up the stairs was an ordeal. Going down was fine as he couldn’t see the gaps. Maybe fine for a young dog.

late morning shade made the outdoor seating impossible. Nice grassy area for our pup. Meh food.

Lovely, quiet, unscented room. Dog friendly staff. Well-kept, big, grassy area surrounds the motel. Early breakfast with healthy options. Not my favorite part of Boise but as we were just passing through this place was perfect.
