Very welcoming!! We went inside to make sure it was OK to bring our doggo on to the patio, and we were happily greeted and asked to take a seat outside. The server appeared with a water bowl for our dog then asked if it was OK to bring him some fried chicken skins that they usually offer doggos as a treat - very nice!! The menu is pretty simple diner type food, but you can tell they take time to make it fresh and high quality. The server was awesome as was her service. Very friendly patrons and the smell of the flowers blooming near the front patio were great. Highly recommend.

We arrived for lunch and I went inside to ask if they could accommodate us and our doggo. They said that they were currently getting their patio ready and doing some work on it, but that they would arrange a table for us so that we could join them for lunch. They set up a table for us and not only went out of their way by doing that, but also provided outstanding service. Our waiter was very good, and went out of his way to make sure our dog had water and brought the food we ordered for him. The human food was great also. Highly recommend.

I am impressed at the cleanliness, great condition of the furnishings, and quality of the rooms. As a a Hilton Diamond member and an owner of an old historic home, these folks have taken meticulous care of this property and haven't cut any corners on guest comfort. I'd put them up against any of the major brand hotels and they would beat many. They were very welcoming of our doggo, and you never felt out of place or looked down upon for having a pet with you. We did not interact much with the staff, but the ones we did talk to were friendly and accommodating. The ONLY negative for us was not having a window in our room to the outside. We were in a room located in the middle of the hotel. Although it did have two windows that allowed light in from an open-air atrium, it was a little strange not being able to gauge the weather but it was not a show stopper for us, but may be for others. I'm sure had we asked, they would have tried to re-accommodate us, but it was not a big deal. Just ask ahead of time if that is a problem for you. The place was quiet and relaxing, even with a prom being hosted the evening we stayed. We did not visit the restaurant or lounge, but did order Doordash both for some grocery items and dinner. There were plenty of options and the staff allowed the drivers to deliver to the room, which is convenient. Internet was fast, water was super hot quickly, the fridge/microwave/coffee were all appreciated.
