Patio seating is dog friendly, but they don’t do anything special for pups — no water bowls or treats. The patio is pretty exposed in the afternoon sun, so plan for that if it’s hot out. 10 min walk from the Tesla Superchargers, which makes it a decent road trip stop. A bit noisy from traffic, but otherwise an easy spot to grab a bite with your dog.

We had a great stay at the Residence Inn Eau Claire! The hotel was super clean and cozy—our suite felt more like a little studio apartment than a hotel room, which made it extra comfortable for both us and our pup. We didn’t need to interact with staff since the mobile key worked perfectly. The continental breakfast was pretty standard but a nice bonus—especially the Starbucks coffee, which was brewed well and hit the spot.

As for the dog-friendliness: two paws up! There was plenty of grassy space to walk, a designated dog area, and easy in-and-out access with stairwells on either end of the building. It made potty breaks quick and stress-free, even late at night. Dog fee was $50. Highly recommend for anyone traveling with a dog and looking for a place that feels a little more like home. We’d definitely stay again!

Worth the extra time off the highway! Perfect road trip stop. It’s a bit off the beaten path so even on a beautiful sunny Saturday the line wasn’t long at all. Fast service! Excellent soft serve (coming from someone who used to work in an ice cream shop) and lots of fun toppings. We also ordered a hot dog and it was good!

We brought our 3 pups to trivia night! They have lots of big open spaces outside. Gorgeous lawn with farm views. They allowed us to bring the pups inside for trivia, which was a bonus. Good food, great beer. Wish we lived closer! Would definitely be a regular here!

Big open patio with plenty of space. They brought us water and milk bones when we arrived. Fast service. Delicious hush puppies and pulled pork. Ribs were only ok.

Great place to grab a beer and enjoy the patio overlooking a wooded area. They brought out a refrigerated cooling pad and water dish for our pup. Great selection of beer. Not too busy, makes for a good hang out spot.

We were able to enjoy their sidewalk patio with our pup. They don’t allow dogs inside. Really delicious sandwiches and cold brew! Not a lot of space on the sidewalk, but just enough for a small group.

A really clean, well run historic site. Perfect to hit up on a road trip. Big bonus for us… You can bring your dog EVERYWHERE here! Into the shop and museum as well as out in the ruins. Our favorite part was that for no extra charge they let you use a golf cart to explore the site. Our pup had fun as both a rider and running along with the cart.

We were blown away by how good the brisket was here. Top notch! We also got the loaded Mac and cheese which was really good too. Outdoor venue, so easy to bring the pup. They didn’t offer free ice cold water bottles to the humans… but they did offer one to our pup! Just shows they have their priorities correct. 😜

They have a small patio in front of the restaurant that was easy to access. We tied our pups leash to the fence and brought our own water dish. Worked great! Really good service, super nice people. Great brews and good food!

Easy access to the patio from the street. They have a dedicated pet area next to their patio with a trash and pet waste bags. Definitely easy with a dog! Really delicious selection of beers, too!
