So-so

It was ok for an overnight stay, but probably not worth the price. The guy working the desk was helpful enough. The room was in pretty good shape for being old. You could tell it had been painted not too long ago, and the furniture was outdated but not in poor condition. We arrived late at night, and it was kind of intimidating that there were several guys standing around on the upstairs level, but we were told it was a safe area with a fire station across the street and that the guys were from a big construction project down the road. If there were breakfast, then maybe worth the price. However, we got a pretty good night’s rest and it wasn’t too bad for a last minute reservation. I had a car with me, so I didn’t check out whatever area may have been available for dogs to go potty. My biggest complaint was no waste baskets in the room or trash can outside, but if we had been there long enough to mention it, I think they would have remedied that.

Very Nice Affordable Place

We spent one night here (Christmas night) and found it to be an excellent location in the economy category. The hotel is clean, nicely decorated, and in like new condition. The staff is very friendly. The free breakfast was good. I chose this one because it had a 4 1/2 star rating on the Choice hotels app, and it did not disappoint. Their policy actually allows for two pets in the room, not just one.

Enjoyed Our Stay

The motel was very clean and nice and pet friendly. We brought our two dogs and one cat and had a nice stay for two nights. They have a form for you to fill out where you can specify that you’re good with not having your room serviced during your stay in case you’d rather not have people come in while leaving pets in the room. As far as amenities for people go, the pool and recreation area is very nice, and we found a nice bench swing to relax in outside during the evening. Free breakfast was very well stocked with lots of cold choices plus make your own waffles, oatmeal, and grits. Keurig coffee maker and small refrigerator in the room. Very quiet place, at least during the week. Friendly and helpful staff.
