Friendly and comfortable
Holiday Inn Express & Suites Pahrump an IHG HotelPretty standard Holiday Inn Express experience: friendly staff, comfortable beds, spotlessly clean. Only real complaint is the coffee, it’s really terrible.

Will not refund your deposit
Goulding's LodgeBeautiful views and friendly staff. Be aware they will not automatically refund your deposit: they claim it takes several business days but it’s been almost two weeks and I’m still waiting. I’m wondering if they plan to keep deposits from all pet owners by default.

Good for a night
Quality Inn & Suites Near White Sands National ParkStaff were professional and friendly, decent coffee/breakfast for a large hotel chain. Good location. Only real complaint is the high pet fees ($25 per pet so cost me $50).

Gross bathroom, rude and aggressive staff
Bayfront InnThe room advertised was a queen room with a patio (room numbers 5, 6, 7, 8 specifically). None of those rooms have patios: the front doors open up to one shared patio with a handful of seats. Our bathroom was covered in a sticky residue and appeared to have not been cleaned in some time. Finally, the bed was full-sized, not a queen, and was supplied with one paper thin blanket. There was no space to place a crate for one dog, much less two. The male staff member I spoke with on the phone was incredibly rude and aggressive to us, borderline threatening. We did not even stay one night. This place is an absolute scam.

Stellar rooms but massively overpriced
NoMad Las VegasThe rooms and service at NoMad were phenomenal. I loved the darker areas and the rooms themselves were full of character. Staff was wonderful, helpful, friendly. I’m not familiar with Vegas hotels, so maybe this is normal, but there’s something borderline offensive to me about paying $200 for a room and not even having fridge space, free coffee, or even free water. Not even a coffee maker in the room!
