I found this to be a perfectly fine motel. It is close to the highway and has a lot of trucks around so yes, there is some noise. Just like at all the other surrounding places. Our room was situated facing the back - It wasn't enough to keep us up though my brother stayed facing the parking lot and thought it too loud. The room was roomy and clean, the beds comfortable. It was carpeted but seemed clean; no lingering dog smell. Everything worked. They don't overcharge for a pet stay - $20 deposit. They also charge deposit for the room which is credited back at checkout. There is standard fare for complimentary breakfast: eggs sausage, cereal, fruit, yogurt, the usual.

The rate was good, the dog was free, desk staff nice. But it’s old and shabby. To me that’s okay IF it’s clean. This place felt icky. They only clean rooms after four nights that’s one thing but should also be at the end of every stay. The bath fixtures and bedding did seem clean, but this room hasn’t had a detail for some time. Floor especially dirty and not from us. I swiped wet cloth across the floor near the wall. Ugh. Jilly, who brought her own bed didn’t mind. But then again she’s stayed at a kennel before.
