Easy access, convenient location. Costco is only a few blocks away! A really decent food truck out front. Doggy relief locations. A tad noisy in early evening, but otherwise just fine!

The location is absolutely amazing, being situated on the banks of the Columbia River with gorgeous views, a grassy lawn gently sloping down to a paved path from the inn leading along the river bank 1.75 miles west under a bridge, past a small marina and ending at a park. At check in they gave us a doggy treat bag with kibble, treats, and poo bag. The view from our ground floor dog friendly room was fabulous! Loved this place so much!

The host was very gracious upon arrival and assigned us to a room on the quiet side of the building. The location is in the middle of town, but it was very easy to find a way to go on walk around town. The location was very clean, easy to find and access.

We received special assistance to find the perfect place to land at the end of our travel. We were made to feel entirely welcome, the very large room we were assigned was clean, comfortable, and easily accessible from a convenient side door entrance. They have a cute dog biscuit containing at the registration desk, and there is a grassy area out front for the pooch too.

The location was great for the humans, with easy access to the trolleys and streetcars and the French Quarter; also easy walking distance to Louis Armstrong park. Finding a spot for our Fido to “go” was a little tough. Fortunately for us, our dog was ok with the median strip dividing the traffic on the wide street in front of the hotel.

Check-in was speedy and efficient. The property had green areas for our dog to go and tend to business, with dog disposal bags and disposal station nearby.

We were astounded by the speed and efficiency of check-in at the Whitney-less than 3 minutes! The room we were assigned was spacious and afforded awesome views of the city and surrounding mountains. Best of all was the super dog park across the street, built purposefully to accommodate big and small dogs, designed to be efficient, safe and thoughtfully surrounded by attractive landscaping and great art & seating for dog parents. A really great spot!

The room we were assigned was on the third floor. The elevator was slow and unresponsive, and it seemed like the facility was very short staffed from the overflowing trash collection. Containers everywhere. Reception couldn’t tell us where the baggage carts were or help with getting one. But the facility itself and the room were fine. There was ample green space to walk our dog, equipped with dog bags and waste disposal. There was a very busy highway adjacent to the property but we couldn’t hear the highway noise in our room.

We spent two nights at this location. Everyone was very congenial and friendly and very welcoming to our lab. There is plenty of area adjacent to the building for the dogs to walk around, check things out and relieve themselves. They serve a very respectable variety of choices for breakfast. We would happily stay here again, as it is in a location with relatively easy access and has a Cracker Barrel restaurant next door.
