Hello! My name is Emily :) I have 2 rescue doggies, a girl & a boy. Koda is my girl, she’s most likely a German Shepard & Labrador Retriever Mix. Bandit is my boy, he’s most likely a Bulldog & Pit bull Mix. My husband & I are from Boston, MA. We spent a little over 3 years living in Denver, CO where we adapted our 2 dogs-both at only 3 months old. Koda was adopted in July of 2020 & Bandit was adopted in August of 2021. We now live in Jacksonville, NC while my husband is stationed at Camp Lejeune.

Beautiful hotel

The hotel itself is beautiful and sits in a great, walkable area of Dallas with plenty of dining options and even a nearby 7/11. It feels very luxurious. Just note that they offer valet parking only, and the lot is a bit down the road but the staff is great about helping you unload your belongings and retrieving your car whenever needed.

They don’t have an on-site pet relief area. There is a dog park farther down the street, but it didn’t feel ideal for nighttime walks. Staff was very friendly toward our dogs, and there’s no pet fee, which was a nice perk. There are a few small patches of grass around the property, but they’re right by a busy intersection and our dogs were too nervous to use them.

Our room overlooked the outdoor pool, fire pits, and part of downtown. The king bed was very comfortable, the TV was a good size, and the shower was spacious. We were also able to order DoorDash to the lobby without any issues. Overall, it’s a lovely hotel in a cool part of the city, but it may not be the most convenient option for travelers with dogs.

Luxurious hotel with no pet fee!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hyatt Centric Buckhead Atlanta! The hotel was beautiful, and our room was spotless, comfortable, and had great city views. The huge TV and super cozy bed made it feel extra luxurious. Our dogs were welcomed, which we appreciated. While there weren’t any dog beds provided, there was a small pet relief area outside with poop bags available. We were also given a room at the end of the hall right by the stairs, which made quick trips outside with the dogs really convenient.

The room itself felt quiet and relaxing—almost soundproof—and the bathroom was spacious with great lighting. The only downsides were the parking being across the street, which made unloading a bit inconvenient, and the shower’s low water pressure. Overall, we had a wonderful stay (and so did our pups!). DoorDash delivery was no problem at all, which was a nice bonus.
