Better than I thought
Coconut Cay Resort & MarinaI was reluctant to book a stay here but was pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness of the rooms. The exterior leaves much to be desired (especially concerning how much the room rates are) but is conveniently located. I have 2 small hypoallergenic dogs that are ~15#’s each. I’m staying for 4 days & having to pay $400 is a shocker (per the 3 bone review).
Great dog friendly Inn!
Crown City Inn CoronadoThis was my first stay & I was pleasantly surprised. The Inn is located conveniently to shops, restaurants, & parks. They also have a very good cafe located on the property. You’re not allowed to leave your pet alone in the room (even kenneled) but Coronado is very pet friendly. The one drawback is parking.... they have onsite parking but during peak season, it can get filled up pretty quickly (street parking is readily available). This is a gem of a place and now my favorite!
Great Location and Amenities
The Dana On Mission BayWe often visit San Diego and The Dana is our definite “go to” hotel. It’s located on Mission Bay, within minutes to the freeway, dog friendly beaches, and Sea World. It’s also has nice walking areas and a park right beside the property. On the bayside of the property, the Dana has rooms on the ground floor with a locking, gated porch that allows direct access to a large grassy area. One thing of note (regarding San Diego beach areas only
