The area is a bit sketchy. The room was clean. Very noisy. The fan for the AC is extremely loud and sounds like it is malfunctioning. Trains are loud all night. The riverwalk is nice but it’s behind the building and sketchy to get to with construction and others hanging out smoking. Okay for dog potty spots. Dogs cannot be left in the room even crated. Not very dog friendly.

Everything about the lodge is wonderful. Here’s the list:

This is resort living for a great price
We will return.

Pet friendly and easy access to take dogs potty. Rooms are large.

Clean rooms and friendly staff.
Easy access for dog potty trips. Rooms are like apartments and comfortable.

My favorite Hotel. You can leave your dog crated in your room. It’s a beautiful hotel with stylish and creative decor. It’s clean! Good food. Kind people. Very fun for us all. Easy to take dogs potty outside.

First, this is Chicago. An amazing city. The hotel is right on the river walk. Lots of potty spots for dogs. Hotel is clean.

Clean hotel.
Places for dogs to go potty around the building.
You can crate and leave your dog in the room. We went to dinner in the hotel. It was good. We would stay again.

Not clean. Run down.

The hotel is clean and comfortable. They were dog friendly and the location near the park is ideal. Dogs can go potty and take walks. You are minutes from all Alexandria has to offer including King Street. Very noisy at night in our room because it sounded like we were below their laundry facility. That would be my only concern.

The staff was welcoming and the room adequate. There is a dog park for potty a block away which is convenient. I just believe to get 5 bones a hotel should offer dog bowls and beds. Offering treats is a nice touch too. None of that was offered here.

A beautiful hotel. Very welcoming. Our room came with a dog bowl and a dog bed. Easy access to grass for dogs to go potty. We will return.

Pleasant stay for our dog and cat. Very comfortable bed.

Our cat and dog were comfortable. Easy access to potty areas. Hotel was loud and not as welcoming as some stays have been. But nothing seriously problematic.

This was a great stay. Comfortable for a dog, a cat, and two humans. The bed is comfortable and the staff is welcoming. We really enjoyed ourselves and got some needed rest as we travel across the country.

Very run down.

We were so excited to find a cozy wine bar in Astoria. Lisa is very knowledgeable about wine. She is warm and welcoming and loves dogs. We sat outside with our wine, food and fur baby and had the best time. She serves food but welcomes takeout from her community. It was great fun to grab food and sit down in her outdoor space and drink wine. We will be back. Wine enthusiasts and dog lovers this place is for us!
