Absolutely love!

Camp Bow Wow Dobson Ranch - Mesa

I love this place! The staff is friendly and the owner is truly kind and caring. Your able to drop your dog off at 6:30am and pick them up as late as 7:30pm. They have cameras so you can watch your dog all day on their free app. If you have your dog board over night, they have a cots in their room to sleep on with a blanket and if you upgrade their stay you can watch them sleep and take a break in their room. (That has a tv, may I mind you) I will always go to Camp Bow Wow when I have to leave my dog in her crate for longer that 5 hours, they are the best!

Love It!

Lost Dutchman State Park

I had so much fun walking up the mountain with my dog. There are plenty of shorter trails if you don’t want to hike all the way up to the top of Superstition Mountains. I would change somethings when I go next so I have a better time. 1) I would go in the morning and not later in the afternoon. 2) I would park closer to the main trail so that I would be closer to the trail and 3) I would be more water, I didn’t have enough for the dog and myself for the long trail.

It’s Ok

Vista del Camino Dog Park

The dog park is aright but walking around is really beautiful because your walking by a lake and there are lots of trees and I really like that park but the dog park is ok

Big Enough

Bark Park at Nozomi Park

This park is smaller compared to Quail Run Dog park but is long enough for my Red Healer/ German Shepherded mix to go full sprint. It’s also nice because it has an agility corse that is separated from the open field part of the park. Over all I would come back just for the agility part.

Small But Good

Scottsdale Pet Hotel

It’s a cute little daycare that I dropped my dog off for the day and she was so tired that she slept the next day all day! I would definitely drop my dog off for the day but I don’t know if I would board her.

So Much Fun!

Papago Park

This is really fun to walk with your dog. You can either walk with your dog or hike up the mountains. It’s really open and there is a place to sit and have lunch in the middle of the whole park. Plenty of spaces to park and it’s typically clean.

It’s Ok

Tempe Sports Complex Dog Park

There’s not much here, just an open field with plenty of shaded areas and seating. There are two water fountains but they are on opposite sides of the park.

Fishy Behind Doors

Doggie District Pet Resort

I’ve been trying to find new places to take my dog to for day play because if I go out of town and can’t bring my dog then I will need to board her. So I looked in this place and made an appointment to have her stay for half a day of play. When I got there I was handed some papers to fill out (no big deal) but a lot of the papers were about them (Doggy District) not having liability if my dog gets sick or hurt. Then while I was sitting and doing my paper work I can here the groomer being very rude. Talking about how she has so many dogs to groom and she’s not going to wait around for other people if they don’t know if they want a groom yet today. But one think that struck me as odd was that when I was finishing up my paper work one of the works had two dogs, off leash, walking around the front lobby and when he noticed I was there her got scared and told me he was sorry and hurried them back into the other room. When I finished I was told I can leave but I asked if I can take a tour (I was told I can take one when I made the appointment) she was shocked that I wanted to take one. We went into the big dog play area and it smelled to bad like urine and feces. When I looked out a window to see the big dog play group it was not much bigger than a small back yard, plus the window looked like it has not been clean for weeks! She took me to were they kennel the dogs and they were the tinniest kennels. My dog has a bigger kennel at home and she’s 37lbs! Also there are kennels in top of the floor kennels and when I asked how do they get them up there she replied with they have a ramp they use. I was shocked that they would let dogs sleep in suck tinny kennels and had to put big dogs in kennels that are higher than me! (I’m 5’3) I left with more questions than answers. When I got home I looked into Doggy District and found out that they have a lot of unhappy customers. I rushed over and picked up my dog, she’s seemed like she had fun but I wouldn’t go back unless I had to.

Good but...

Cosmo Dog Park

It’s a good park. Plenty of room for dogs ( Main area, water area and timid dog area) but I don’t go there very often because the water has a weird blue tint to it and the grass is dead with a lot of dirt patches.

Never Again

PETsMART Dog Park at Washington Park

It’s a big place but my dog was at acted several times by multiple dogs and I thought the owners were going to help me but no one seemed to care time I started yanking dogs away from mine. I will never go here again!

Big!

Dog Park at Quail Run Park

This place is HUGE! There is so much room for everyone and there is a timid dog area right next to everything.

Standing Water

Mitchell Dog Park

This place is nice and very big! But there was a lot of standing water and I was uncomfortable with my dog drinking the dirty water. It had dirt and leaves and other dog slobber in it. I understand that dogs will slobber but I have no idea how long it was there before.
