I drove all the way from Illinois and wasn't sure what to expect. I had an absolute blast. I can't even describe how much fun. The people couldn't be any friendlier. From the opening costume contest to the BBQ lunch to the "singing" contests-- it was just fantastic. Folks will invite you to dinner and be welcoming the whole time. It didn't feel clique-ish or anything like that (I was worried since it was my first time and I was staying at a nearby hotel instead of the campsite). My dog had so much fun sniffing everywhere and playing with new dogs. And while you're in the area, also check out the cave nearby with an underground lake. Just a really great way to spend the weekend. Will definitely be back!
