TuckerboxSpoke with the restaurant who clarified service dogs only inside & any dog outside. The Outside is only open during warmer temps. Menu looks lovely will try again after the snow.
Just lovely!
Pesca Peruvian BistroWe all (hubby, doggie, & me) enjoyed a Saturday afternoon late lunch/early dinner. It’s winter & they graciously accommodated us inside with our fur baby, who laid out quietly under the table. Hubby & I feasted on grilled octopus, chicharon sliders, lamb shank & fish burger (of course we shared with our little miss 🐾). The flavors were all delicate and delicious! The restaurant is charming and romantic and the staff is extremely nice. They immediately brought her a bowl of water and were happy to accommodate a special order for her. The very nice owner identified himself as a dog owner too! Will definitely go back in the summer for us all to sit outside.
Charming!
Charlie's Coffee HouseWe shared a lovely breakfast with Noelle (inside) st Charles Cafe and Coffee. We split a pre-made breakfast sandwich (bacon, egg, and cheese) and a breakfast Panini (sausage, egg, and cheese) with tomato, tomato and spinach (Yum Yum). They offer several non-dairy creamers too! They are inside dog friendly and sell dog biscuits and have a pet water station. The staff and owners are extremely personable and friendly. We even got to meet the legend himself… Charlie!
Lovely!
The Copper GrouseMy husband and I shared a lovely dinner - we had the duck with parsnip purée (perfect dish) and the butcher special Wagyu steak & potatoes (locally sourced). (Side note, ordering an $80 entree must be the norm at this restaurant since the chef showered the table next to us with attention & desserts and didn't once look in our direction to ask us how our dinner was). The host & server (Jess) were leaps & bounds amazing. They have one (hightop) table in a quiet corner, which accommodates guests with dogs (make a reservation to secure it). Pleasant atmosphere with nice lightening, non intrusive background music & friendly customers.
Excellent!
Erie Hotel and RestaurantWe stopped for lunch in Port Jervis with our dog, Noelle, and had an amazing experience at The Erie Hotel Restaurant. The service & customers all very friendly (to us and especially to our dog). Our server immediately brought Noelle a bowl of water and checked on her water levels during our meal. The food was delicious and nice portions (we shared a barbecue chicken sandwich and open face steak sandwich with blue cheese - meats were tender and flavorful). We sat in the outside area under the shade of the building. They are beyond dog friendly. Overall excellent experience!
