Travels with 3 year old Sheltie named Ranger

Just like the small Pensacola Beach West Dog Park, the East Dog Park was as small. Very disappointed that our loving pets are so discriminated along this beautiful stretch of paradise. What‘s so wrong with allowing more beach areas for our pets? 🐾❤️🐾

Vacationed all the way from Indiana to find out my Ranger wasn’t allowed on the Navarre Beaches. Discovered the Pensacola Beach West Dog Park was one of the two beaches where he allowed. Very disappointed that Ranger was required to be leashed on such a very small stretch of the beach, and hardly be considered a Dog Park either. But the beach was very beautiful, he loved the sugar white sand and I was able to shoot some amazing photos of my boy! ❤️🐾❤️

What a fun evening and delicious meal at sunset, beachfront on the beautiful Gulf of America with our dog Ranger allowed and welcomed. Friendly waitress, electric atmosphere, hated to leave. Coulda spent all night enjoying the vibe of the place.

Run down and has seen better days. But, I wanted a dog friendly, gulf front and for near $100 a night. And that’s what I got. Very comfortable bed and a good night’s sleep, a nice balcony overlooking the pool and the Gulf of America. Room definitely needs attention and a bit of cleaning if I’d stay there again. My Ranger did have a pleasant stay, although got sand burrs in his feet where the potty area was located.

Very nice Days Inn and Suites, the nicest we’ve ever stayed in. Well lit parking lot, felt quite safe in fact. Clean updated room, comfortable bed and a good night’s sleep! Dog friendly and at a reasonable rate. And another plus, the mini refrigerator had a freezer, we use those freezer packs in our cooler and was able to actually freeze them for our travels.

The nicest and cleanest La Quinta we’ve ever stayed at. Plus a safe neighborhood. Pet friendly, Ranger approved. Delicious breakfast to start the next day. Would definitely recommend and stay again if ever in Dothan, AL in the future.

Absolutely stunningly beautiful and dog friendly Gulf of America beachfront resort. Delicious breakfast to start the day, refreshing large pool and lazy river to relax as you float effortlessly. And the view, the sugar white sand and the spectacular spectrum of blues of the gulf. Not far from the entrance of the Gulf Islands National Seashore. The 20 mile plus drive from Navarre Beach to Pensacola Beach is magnificent with views of nothing but endless sand dunes on both sides of the road. No homes, developments of any sort, just a couple of parking areas for the beach goers. Most definitely will return in the future. My Ranger was welcomed by all. 🐾❤️🐾❤️

Delicious Pizza!

Enjoyed our one night stay. Safe location, clean and comfortable room, and most importantly, pet friendly!

Our third stay here. Love the view from our balcony and very pet friendly!

Arrived close to closing time, and with Tacos and Tequila’s quick service, we still finished our flavorful cheese dip and chips, and tasty tacos without feeling rushed. And most importantly, pet friendly!
Enjoyed a couple cocktails and a delicious meal in the rear dining area. But most importantly, pet friendly!

Great atmosphere and patio to enjoy a delicious meal with our pet!
Vacationed in the Great Smoky National Park the last three years! Very pet friendly!

Had an unforgettable experience with my dog at the Gatlinburg SkyPark! Would highly recommend to anyone!

Third overnight stay at Comfort Inn & Suites! Safe neighborhood, pleasant desk staff, clean and comfortable rooms, nice hot breakfast and very dog friendly! Our go-to hotel when visiting friends in Northern Indiana. See you next year!

Found Comfort Inn to be very comfortable, clean inside and out, along with pet friendly accommodations.

Was traveling for a quick visit to Madison, IN, and was searching for a pet friendly restaurant that served fried and breaded tenderloin sandwiches! The Rivertown Grill did not disappoint. Tenderloins were delicious and Ranger enjoyed posing in front of restaurant.
