The sea monkey is an excellent key west style bar located next to the marina in downtown Naples. This is one of the few places near downtown that still has laid back vibes and great live music. The food is also excellent and they were very accommodating to our little cavapoo, even bringing her a large bowl of water. They are very pet friendly, as long as your dog is well behaved, which should always be obvious. Almost all of their outdoor seating is covered so you and your pet won’t have to worry about the heat from the sun.

We came here for lunch on a Friday and the patio was pretty full. there were a couple tables opening on the north side of the patio, but we were told we can’t sit at them because we had to be on the “dog side” of the patio. Since both sides of the patio are exactly identical, and the servers enter and exit in the middle of the patio, it makes no sense that only one half of the patio could have dogs on it. I even asked a couple employees what makes one side “the dog side” since the patio is all the same and they couldn’t really give a reasoning.

It’s just pretty annoying watching people who arrived after you get open tables because we have to wait for the “dog side” that is completely indistinguishable from the non-dog side.

As you can see from the picture I submitted, our little 15lb cavapoo slept the whole time under our chair…

UPDATE: We went back today and it seems they are more accommodating with where they will sit you and your pup. Our waiter was extremely friendly and brought us plenty of ice water for us and our dog. I previously rated it 3/5, but our experience today was far better. 5/5 now. They also have a sign near the entrance that says it’s dog friendly, as long as your dog is well behaved, which is plenty fair.

Pour Wine Bar has an amazing natural setting that offers reaxation for you and your pup with local Michigan wine, cider, and even some beer selections. They have a massive lawn with comfortable chairs to lick back and unwind.

Stopped in for some frozen yogurt with the pup. There are probably about 4-5 outdoor tables with plenty of room for your dog. Huge selection of frozen yogurt flavors and even more toppings. There weren’t umbrellas at the tables so it could be pretty sunny possibly during the day, but by late afternoon/evening the sun is blocked by the building so there’s plenty of shade.

Long Road has plenty of outdoor space for you and your pup. We visited on a Saturday afternoon for a drink and appetizer and had excellent service. They even brought a big bowl of fresh water for our dog. It’s a great place to enjoy delicious craft cocktails and great food!

They have a nice shaded outdoor patio that is very pet friendly. They even brought our dog a fresh bowl of water.

We just hung out around the bar area because there was a wait for tables. We didn’t get handed a “dog rules” card like others said in their reviews, but I don’t see a problem with that anyway. Hard to believe some people are so offended their dog can’t sit on the seats at the table haha.

Stan's is a very dog friendly spot with a lot of outdoor seating so you can get away from the bigger crowd if you need to. They brought our dog some water and gave her some pets so she definitely wants to go back again!

Greyline has some great beers and two different areas outside for your pup. One has more grass, but needs a little more shade to be perfect. The other side is more like a patio with a couple umbrellas but not as good of a vibe as the grassy side.

Spankys is a great locals spot for great food and a pet friendly atmosphere on their back patio. There is plenty of shaded seating as well.

This deli not only has a nice covered patio to bring your pup, but it also has amazing sandwiches and salads. very quick service and plenty of outdoor seating! They also serve beer!

Noodlepig has some delicious ramen and a small outdoor patio for pups. it’s an open patio next to the sidewalk but it is comfortably wide enough. the tables don’t have umbrellas but they are right next to the building and there is a concrete overhang to provide some possible cover from the rain. not sure if it would provide shade on a sunny day because it’s open to the south where the sun would be.

I’ve brought my pup to Barrio Taco a couple times and it is always a pleasant experience. their food is great and they have a big outdoor patio with easy access. The only drawback is none of their tables have umbrellas and there is no other shade provided. On warm, sunny days, the sun can be very intense. Small pups can find shade under the table or chair, but larger dogs and humans might get fried.

went here for the first time with our cavapoo, Ivy and had a great time. there is a nice open entrance to their back patio. There are plenty of shaded tables and quick walk-up bar service for food and drinks. the staff was all very welcoming and brought out a bowl of water for our dog. Great spot!

came here on a Sunday afternoon to try it out after seeing the bad review from 2018. They had no problem letting us sit on the patio with our two well behaved dogs. They didn’t provide a water bowl or tell us how cute our dogs are so they didn’t quite earn 5 bones 😂

There is plenty of outdoor seating, the service is very quick, and they even have a window you can walk up to and place your order. Very pet friendly and there are even a few other spots in the area to bring your dog and a park across the street. Next door is a pet store boutique called “Fido and Stitch” you can check out.

The first time I went here was about a year ago, in 2022, and my wife and I both were underwhelmed with their beer and food selection. The brewery has a affinity for "historic" and old-world beer options (hence the name "Archival"), but clearly went overboard on the theme a year ago. Despite the nice ambiance of the place, and really cool looking beer garden, I had no desire to go back because their beer where simply too eclectic and didn't taste good to me.

This weekend, my wife and I decided to give it another try as it looked like their beer and food menu had grown since we last visited. The weather was amazing outside so we decided to try their outdoor area since we had our dog with us. All of the staff was extremely friendly and provided excellent, fast service throughout this visit.

The food menu had drastically expanded and has numerous options I really wanted to try. I ended up getting the French dip with fries and both were amazing. The fries were obviously hand cut and were some of the best I've had in a long time. My wife got the Mahi tacos and said they were also very delicious. We were super impressed with the food. You can tell they care about having delicious, high-quality food.

On the beer side, they still have a bunch of historic style beers which I don't like, but they've also added a good selection of more "normal" styles of beer. I had three 5 oz pours ($2 each) of the Kolsch, West Coast IPA, and the Blonde. All three were very good. Definitely worth coming back for.

The outdoor beer garden is perfect for those nice Michigan days. Plenty of shade, corn hole, and an overall impressively comfortable layout. They are also VERY dog friendly so it was nice to be able to bring our well behaved puppy with us. We will definitely be coming back a bunch this summer as this place now has the best combination of beer, food, and atmosphere.
