Front desk staff was very friendly! Loved that our room was on the 1st floor, that there wasn’t any carpet in the room, and it was nice and clean! There were grass areas just outside the side door by our room and a trash can! We always travel with our own bags so not having them supplied at that side location was not an issue.

At check-in we were gifted a filled dog bag holder! Loved that the rooms did not have carpet = no fleas! There were plenty of stone areas around the hotel and parking lot area to walk the dog. If you need a designated “dog” area there wasn’t one, but we did great without it. For the human visitors the hotel was new and very clean. Our room was fantastic with a king sized bed, couch and kitchenette. The Volare Rooftop bar has a magnificent view and delicious drinks! We drove cross country from NY and this was by far our favorite stop!

They didn't have a specific outdoor area for the dogs, but the grass area around the hotel was abundant! Bring your own bags and keep Fido on a leash and your stay will be great! The lawns were clean and well maintained.

There are multiple areas to walk your dog, all are stocked with dog bags! My favorite amenity was no carpet in the room! Every hotel should remove the carpet! You can see that you are walking in a well cleaned space! The entire facility was clean inside and out! I hope to find another dog-friendly La Quinta on my cross country trip!

The one and only area to walk my dog was a small thin strip of grass across from the back parking lot. It was not a desirable location to walk my dog nor was it picked up. I definitely think they could do better.
