Will go back
Casa RioWe were looking for a place to eat while strolling the Riverwalk with our 4 small dogs (in a stroller) when the Hostess approached us, said she had immediate seating if we were interested, then proceeded to move chairs out of the way to accommodate the stroller, and offered to bring water for the dogs (we carry our own with a bowl). The restaurant was very busy, yet everyone went out of their way to make us and the pups feel welcome. We even had Staff stopping at our table for advice with their own dogs! The food was marvelous, prices reasonable for the location, but the Staff made the day memorable.
Super Dog Friendly!
TORO CantinaWanting to lunch with the pups (in their stroller) and social distance safely, we decided to try Toro. We hadn't known it was dog friendly until we called and asked. We saw nothing online about it. The lunch crowd outside was sparse (it WAS hot!), and we felt very safe with the seating arrangements. The patio is nicely upscale, too (no picnic tables here!). We both had the cold soup, and it was wonderful, as was the rest of our meal. Best part? The wonderful service, and the kind, attentive way the dogs were treated. Water was brought for them before we could ask, and they were able to provide chicken, cooked without spices. Taryn...you are the BEST!! If we weren't leaving the state, this would be our weekly go-to spot.
Great Experience

Valentine's Day dinner
Lazy Days RestaurantHad reserved table on the beach. Dogs (in stroller) accepted, but I wouldn't go as far as to say welcomed. Wait staff ignored them, though other diners enjoyed them. We ordered them burgers and carrots, fed with our own plastic silverware, and gave them water we brought, from their own bowl. No one offered them water, but to be fair, it was early evening and not really hot out. Food and atmosphere very good, but we will return to other restaurants where we have felt more welcome.
