Lucky Wine Stop

Had a short day of driving today, so Bogey and I made a stop at The Blufftop at Rocheport. There's lots of room on the dog friendly patio, the staff was very kind to us, and the wines are amazing. It's really close to the highway come with so it's an easy stop if you're traveling, and definitely worth it if you love good wine.

Far From Impressed

To start off, it took at least 10 minutes for someone to even acknowledge our existence at the front door.

Once we got our table, we asked for water for my dog. She came back three times and was reminded each time that we had asked for water. She finally brought it. We placed our orders.

10 minutes later she came back to tell us that they were out of flatbread, which my friend had ordered, and also out of shrimp, which I had ordered. She said they had a busy weekend. Makes me wonder if this is their first week in business. First time they've ever had a busy weekend? Perhaps poor planning? Come on!

In case you're wondering, no, we will not be visiting this restaurant ever again.
