We rented a house near by and I walked down each morning. Yes there are signs about the algae in the water but another dog owner said the water is ok after my dog had drank some! It’s a rough sand beach with plenty of ducks & very pretty in winter once the dog burns off. It’s an easy walk under the bridge and when you get to the end where the park begins just loop back around & come back up by a park & the community center. There is a water fountain there & poop bags & a trash can too.

We were vacationing at Pine Mountain Lake and found this great dog park. Our Jack Russell got to run around with the other happy dogs. There are lots of trees for shade and local friendly dog owners. Water is provided and a safe entry in/out of the dog park. It’s made up of mulch so a soft ground for dogs paws but is a little
Dusty when dry.
