
Good length and elevation for medium to large dogs. The first lake is close, but only accessible to view from above. Longer hike to 2nd lake. After short climb the trail flattens across the valley...plenty of wildflowers and great views. Crossed one patch of snow in late July. Upper lake is great for dogs to take a quick swim before heading back down. Or, you can do the last steeper climb to see a few more lakes (we skipped this)

Short enough hike without any serious scrambles that most all dogs can enjoy. Lake allows dogs to get a little wet after they pose for Instagram photos in front of awesome scenery
