This hotel worked out so well for my dog and I that I booked again when heading back at the end of my road trip. The staff were super friendly BOTH times, demonstrating that they are dog people and care about customer service. I chatted with them and they confirmed that everyone who works there is a dog person! Besides that, the best thing about this hotel is that it is on 7 acres of land and surrounded by grass on all sides. So there is plenty of space to walk your dog(s). There is even a hill on the side of the hotel where you can walk up to the top, not too high, and walk along a ridge which leads to a mowed trail. I didn't didn't explore the trail but will do so next time. The hill overlooks a gas station so not a great sight but I felt safe and it was clean and I was thankful for a natural area to get some exercise after the drive.
