Traveling is my passion and my poor Aussie, Cody has to keep me company on the road.

Super spot after a long day on the road. The room was freshly updated. There is a large grassy area adjacent to the motel. Very clean and comfortable. Kinda weird that the fridge and microwave were in the bathroom. It was a very large bathroom. The appliances were a good distance from the commode.
There’s a DD, convenience store and an Applebees within walking distance. Pleasantly surprised for under $100 a night.

We enjoyed our ocean view room very much. As far as “fancy,“ well that doesn’t apply to Bermuda Sands. It is an older hotel. Lots of 50’s tile, cracking grout, indoor/outdoor carpet etc. The place could use a lot of elbow grease. Paint the balcony. The lamp shades had rust. I would have preferred someone took the shelves out of the refrigerator and cleaned the shelf supports, stuff like that. What mattered most was the view! Right on the water. The waves whispered us to sleep. The bed was comfortable. The staff was pleasant. My pup was one of many there yet it was very quiet. We will be back!

You get what you pay for. It was obvious people live in this motel. It seemed like the place was being spruced up but they hadn’t gotten to the pet rooms yet. Our room smelled of stale smoke. The doors were nearly destroyed. I’m traveling back that way again but refuse to stay there.

No free stale bagels or waffle irons. There is, however, easily cleaned uncarpeted floors, ample dog walking grassy areas and dooty bags supplied. I was thrilled to find such a pet-friendly accommodation.
