We really enjoyed our lunch. It was a beautiful afternoon and we were able to sit out on the deck. The IPA beer was great (cold and served in a real glass). The service was outstanding with waiter being very attentive. The fish and chips were also excellent.

River Roost is a great place for dogs and the best IPA (Mas Verde) in all of Vermont (and the northeast corner). There is inside and outside seating. There is also Big Fatty’s BBQ just across the parking lot. If you are in White River Junction (or anywhere near) you need to stop in for a great place to relax with your dog and enjoy a spectacular IPA.

This place is a little out of the way, but the service was great, the beer was good (cold Session IPA), and the food was good. Seating (in Beer Garden) is outside, so the weather is an issue. But if it is good, you and your dog will enjoy the quiet atmosphere. What I liked was the service. Very open and friendly.

Dogs (non-service) are only welcome at the picnic tables in the front of the bar adjacent to the parking lot and loud, smelly road. Absolutely no atmosphere.
