My husband and I have one 25 pound Pumi pup, Duda, who accompanies us on most of our adventures. We love to find excellent lodging and dining spots where she is welcome.

Superb

Local Ocean Seafoods

The finest, freshest, and most fabulous seafood is served graciously on a patio in the parking lot next to this exceptionally well celebrated restaurant. Two weeks before we lunched here with our pup, I made a reservation on the patio. I am so glad I did. Halibut Ceviche and Blackcod Poke are two of the most memorable dishes we were served that day.

Every Friday

Fishermen's Seafood Market

My husband and I have been bringing our pup to this floating restaurant for very fine fish and chips almost every Friday since the dining area was built. I LOVE the halibut. My spouse orders the cod. Our dog likes every morsel we’re willing to share.

Though not not inexpensive, the fish is wonderful. The staff is very friendly and gracious.

After lunch, we three often enjoy going for a walk along the paved waterfront path adjacent to the restaurant.

Excellent

The Drift Inn

We always try to dine here when in Yachats, but sometimes the patio is full with a long wait. The food is excellent. We appreciate the vegan options as much as the restaurant’s welcoming attitude toward pets. The patio is quirky but quite lovely. last time we were there, we were offered “swing seats or pond seats.”.
