We treated ourselves as it is a bit pricey but they are wonderful with dogs of all sizes, we have a 75 lb golden retriever. They provided a dog bed with bowls and the grounds are beautiful, right in the water. Highly recommend.

Great hotel for dogs (all sizes) with green space close by. Walkable to old town.

The food was delicious and service was excellent. It was an extra bonus that we were able to bring our pup. would highly recommend.

Stopped in San Marcos for dinner and found this extremely dog friendly restaurant. Food was yummy and our dog and the many others there were happy to be out with their families.

We booked a night at this particular Red Roof under the impression it was large dog friendly hotel however when we arrived at 9pm we were told that our 12 year golden retriever needed to be crated to get in, apparently a leash wasn’t sufficient. We haven’t had a crate since she was a puppy so had to carry her in as it was now late into the evening. Would not recommend this Red Roof as management seems to make up ridiculous rules.

We were visiting Austin with our golden and found this restaurant via the Bring Fido app. Loved the food and the dog friendly atmosphere. Would highly recommend
