I reserved a room during a heat wave this summer when my ac was broken. I arrived, signed a document, was given a key card, and cooled off for 14 hrs w my dog. No specific pet area. No specific pet perks. But she was allowed in and out and I tossed her waste bags over the fence by the dumpster as I could not locate a waste disposal. Next day at checkout, oopsies, they don't want my debit card, they'll use the credit card instead. And, uh oh, their printer does not work so they cannot give me a receipt. Weeks later, I see they charged me an extra $100 as they "upgraded" me to a king suite.
