We took our two dogs on free parks day and had a blast. The fort and grounds are dog friendly (with exception of inside the visitor center and fort gift shop). They even have free collar tags for the B.A.R.K Ranger program at the visitor center. We loved being able to take the boys into the fort and even on the upper levels. There are also a lot of trails around the grounds that are awesome to help get the energy out. The park rangers were so friendly!

We recently visited with our two pups and we cannot recommend enough. The entire park is super dog friendly (but no dogs inside the visitor center). The grounds are beautifully manicured and maintained and is easily accessible for dogs of any energy level due to it being relatively flat with very few stairs. They have a dog watering station in the breezeway near the restrooms and you can get a collar tag for your pooch (even though they don’t actively participate in the B.A.R.K Ranger program any longer.) Be aware that this is on the coastal waters and there were a TON of biting flies/horse flies, so plan accordingly. There is no entrance few or parking fee. A great spot for you and your pooch!

This has been the best hotel we have stayed at with our dog. The receptionists are all amazingly friendly and helpful, and I was able to book over the phone painlessly. The complimentary martinis at night and breakfast in the morning simply cannot be beat! The location is right on the water and in the heart of historic St. Augustine. I cannot give enough compliments and have referred everyone (even without pets!) to this charming hotel.

This is such a beautiful park with tidy and spacious camp sites. We are a tent camping couple that loves getting out in the woods with our pupper. All of the trails here are well maintained and the park ranger staff was friendly and incredibly helpful. An amazing campground to stay or visit and bring your dog along!
