The Padre is now our go-to stopover when trekking to and from Vegas from the Bay Area with our doggo. It’s a great vibe, they are dog-adoring. And being in the downtown/theater district you’re walkable to a lot of the most interesting places to eat and visit. Rooms are very nice, beds super comfy and staff are very friendly and helpful (especially for dog-toting guests). Restaurants are tasty, high quality and solid value. Downtown can be a bit sketch (not the Hotel’s fault), and, while there are grass patches for pet relief within a block or two in each direction, there’s no dedicated relief area directly on premises.
