For anyone traveling though or around St Louis MO with a service dog please be aware that this hotel does not comply with ADA law. I paid for a king room and was denied the room because the hotel claimed the only pet friendly rooms were on the first floor and the first floor contained all double queens. I repeatedly told them I was traveling with a service dog and that they were breaking the ADA rules by denying me access to the room that I paid for, and they did not care.

Of course, I was completely exhausted from our journey, and I went ahead and accepted the double queen because I needed to sleep, but I will be filing a complaint with the ADA. I had booked the room through my American Airlines hotel app, which I did call and complain. Even the AA rep said that was against the law. They tried to get me a refund, but the hotel was noncompliant with them as well. I’m am only sharing this experience so others can avoid booking this particular hotel. On our vacation, we stayed at six other La Quintas. None of them gave us any trouble only this hotel in St. Louis, Missouri.
