I love the food and service at Black Bear, but that patio is right on a busy street and intersection. All you can hear is accelerating vehicles!

I had the carnitas grilled burrito and asked for a carnitas pup cup. Our wonderful server brought out extra for Otter!

They brought out dog water without us having to ask.

On top of the hospitality, the food was excellent!

We will be definitely coming to this restaurant again!

There is plenty of lawn area for my dog to do her business. They let me leave her in the room while I went to get a pretty decent breakfast. The facilities could use some upgrades, but still a nice place to stay. We stayed there on the way to our Thanksgiving and also on the way back.

I was trying to see how to bring my dog onto the deck, so I waited in the doorway for the staff to finish with the customer before me, and they completely ignored us. They were short with every encounter and I was completely nice to them, but they wouldn’t acknowledge even a “thank you”. Food was okay, definitely not great. I would pass on this place if I were you.

Paid for parking across the street only to find out they are closed on Tuesday.

Lots of space for my dog to explore. Very clean and lots of room. I would stay here again!

We didn’t find out about the campfire in the back until the last night. Clean hotel and very dog friendly with treats at the front desk!

The host was amazing and the apartment was much more than an apartment. It was a little slice of paradise in a bigger paradise. Extremely dog friendly, but also people friendly. Our evenings on the patio overlooking the golf course were very relaxing. I will recommend this place for people with or without pets.

The hotel seems kinda old. My upstairs neighbors were only walking around, but I could hear every creak of their footsteps, but that is my only issue. Staff was excellent! Grounds were clean and there is a grassy area behind the pool that my dog enjoyed exploring.

It could’ve been the booking agent, but there was some mention of being near Counsel Bluffs, but it wasn’t near there. The hotel was extremely clean and the breakfast was good. Plenty of grass for my dog. Staff was very helpful.

The staff were excellent. There is a dedicated, rocky pet area, but not any grass for my dog. Very noisy though. I could hear every toilet within close proximity flush and anyone walking by my room.
