Do not recommend

Quite dirty rooms. Even had to ask for a new shower curtain. Toilet seat wasn't clean. Missing some basic amenities. ZERO GRASS at a pet friendly hotel.

Definitely a worthwhile stop

Great trails, shade options, and all dog friendly trails. Dogs are allowed in the visitor area except on the carpeted area.

Relaxed, dog-friendly must do

Came up to OSU for a procedure for one of our dogs and so we had to find dog friendly places to spend our time. This place was so chill our dogs actually fell asleep (never happens in public places). The beer was top-notch (I had two IPAs and hubs had sours), the couch was comfy, the indoor and outdoor spaces were relaxed with lots of seating. They looked to be adding in to the outdoor space too on the front of the building. Lots of people coming over on bikes, some people cozied up on computers on a Tuesday afternoon. I enjoyed talking to the beer tender and actually wished I'd asked her more about the brewery.

Great find and wish this place was in my neighborhood.

Great pet friendly tour

Luna was our tour guide and did a great job sharing history with us and pointing out great stops along the way. One of our dogs requires a stroller for his back so that was a small obstacle at times but nothing unmanageable.

This was a great option for us to still get to do some history with the dogs in tow.

Great historic pet-friendly hotel

We chose Hotel Gibbs because they were willing to allow our 3 little dogs to come even though their policy says 2 dogs. (We did ask for permission first.) This was a first time for our dogs to be in a hotel so we weren't sure how they would behave. We ended up using their laundry service because one of our dogs sometimes just randomly goes. Luckily it happened on his own blanket. Although it was pricey (~$50) to have it washed, I was happy that service was available. The breakfast tacos were great (go early though because it gets a little stale) and you can bring the dogs in to the restaurant area. This is such a great (and RARE) feature that doesn't require swapping to go eat. They also provided us hot water to be able to warm up our dogs' food. We had the junior king suite and having the extra room was so worth it.
