We pulled off our trek to Acadia for lunch in Belfast, Maine. We are so glad that we did! The Front Street Pub - Harborwalk Restaurant was perfect for us and our pup, Tucker!! We sat on the front deck under a canopy for shade on this hot summer day. The hostess quickly brought a chilled bowl of water for the dog before we even got our drinks. Then the kitchen prepared a plain chicken for Tucker too! We ALL enjoyed the food and atmosphere of this location. It is a great coastal town to visit along Maine’s coast!

We arrived at Prairie Whale without a reservation and asked to sit outside with our border collie, Tucker. The staff was very accommodating and quickly filled our dog bowl with water too. There was a lovely front lawn around the tables, so Tucker was very comfortable lounging next to us. I was also able to play fetch with him while we waited for our food. The service was great and the food was delicious for us. (We brought in Tucker’s food.) We hope to return here when back in Great Barrington!
