We were going to use this hotel as a base for taking day trips to hike and explore the area. It seemed centrally located and had several dining options nearby. Unfortunately, even though the hotel is dog friendly, there is no place to walk your dog at the hotel. You have to cross the street to a nearby church to find a small grassy area. The area has numerous homeless people panhandling nearby, so we were approached every time we went to walk our dog. The staff were friendly and helpful and the room was clean, but had no hot water when we woke up to shower the next morning. This gave us a great reason to checkout and find a different hotel in a better area.

We’ve been going to this restaurant for many years, but this was the first time we’ve brought our pup. We’ve decided that we want her to travel with us, so we are introducing her to new social situations. This was her first trip to any restaurant, and it went very well. The front patio has several tables. There were large fans set up, so we never felt uncomfortably warm. We brought our own portable dog bowl and bottled water for Belle, so none was offered. Overall, it was a very positive experience.
