The room was nice size and very clean. The full size refrigerator was nice. The pet fee is very reasonable compared to other hotels. They have an outdoor grilling area available that would be a nice place to hang out with your dog.

The road in can be a bit dicey but it’s beautiful once you get there.
Dogs are allowed on the beach. There is no trash service so you must take with you any trash you or your dog generates.

Winery with a nice patio and the wines were good too 🍷

We stopped here with our dog after hiking and viewing the falls in late September. The patio/deck was very nice, it had picnic tables, rocking chairs and a stone fireplace.
There were souvenirs available and a food truck was there at this time.

Outdoor areas at Pond Hill Farm are very dog friendly. There is a covered outdoor area to eat in but you may need someone to go inside and order/pickup the food.
The trails offer a “Gnome Hunt” that is fun.
This is also a very fun place for kids especially in the fall.

This is a fun trail but there are quite a few stairs. The stairs are built into the wooden boardwalk that follows the river/falls with larger viewing areas built along the way. The stairs are spread out so you don’t have to tackle them all at once, take your time and enjoy the many views. Once you view the falls you can follow the trail out to Lake Superior.
