Hi, my husband and I are empty nesters living in TN. We have 3 wonderful adult children and a great daughter-in-law and son-in-law.
Our little 17 pound dog Olive is the absolute perfect rescue dog. We brought her home with us on 10/4/2014

Great Patio for Pups!

We stopped here on our way home from Florida in September 2025. We chose this restaurant because we were looking for a place to eat lunch while traveling with our dog. We came across The Blue Plate on BringFido.com. and I’m so glad we did. Such a great patio with picnic tables, ceiling fans and rocking chairs for relaxing. Our waitress Tiffany was really great. She was very quick to ask if our dog needed a bowl of water which we appreciated. She also took really great care of us especially since we were the only ones on the patio at that time. The food was very good. We both had the meat loaf, Yum! Lots of great choices on the menu.

Great Experience

Stopped by The Camp Restaurant today while traveling with our dog. We walked in with her and we were told we would need to go to the bar to order and then take our “to go” order to one of their outdoor locations which was no problem. We got our drinks and stayed in the bar until our food was ready. The bartender (who was super nice!) brought our food, napkins, condiments, etc. out to our table. We chose to eat in the enclosed back patio because it was a little cold and windy that day. Otherwise we would have chosen to sit on the front porch with a view of the Mississippi River.
There was a bowl of water for our dog on the back patio.
This was a good experience and I would recommend to others traveling with their dogs.
