Staff were very friendly to our overly friendly Golden. Nice garden in the back to sit and enjoy your coffee.

Today was a warm and beautiful day for a walk in Downtown Ventura. We decided to stop a Winchester’s for a snack and a couple of cold beers. When we ask if we could be seated in a spot out to the way where our 90lb Golden wouldn’t get in anyone’s way. The manager with the red beard was rude and told us no not if we wanted to sit with our dog. Then he tried to show us to a table way in the back of the crowded patio. His attitude needs an adjustment. This isn’t the first time we have to deal with his rudeness. He clearly doesn’t like dogs and it shows. If he doesn’t want dogs on his patio then he needs to make a policy change. I don’t recommend this place for anyone with or without a dog.
