I don’t usually stay at Red Roof Inns, but this one got a good rating and was nice and clean with a big lawn in the back for your dog. Also a nice grass area in the front. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Surprisingly there was a bag breakfast containing several breakfast bars.

This was right next to the Hopewell Rocks Park, which should be great. This motel was clean but old. The room was extremely basic and smelled musty. There were threadbare towels and no towel racks and no soap. We were glad we didn’t have to stay there long! The free continental breakfast did not appeal so we moved on. You should, too.

Hotel prices in this area are insane, but the Hilton Garden Inn, Edison NJ was a more reasonable price. However, the pet fee was $50. It has a nice restaurant and bar and we were able to order dinner until 10pm. We thought breakfast was included, but it was not. You could order from a menu, or the buffet breakfast was $16, which seemed high, so we didn’t partake. The room was very nice with a cute door sign that said, “Brace yourself for cuteness. Furry friend inside.” Definitely would recommend.
