dogs are allowed on any trails that are asphalt or mulch ! There’s plenty of shade and space to explore which is nice :) Sadly, though, dogs are not allowed in any of the botanical gardens themselves (which we were bummed about because they looked so beautiful from afar !)

What a sweet vet clinic ! They accept Care Credit and Pet Assure, which is so helpful for us :) Their staff is kind, helpful, and their space is always clean. They gave our dog treats throughout the appointment and were very gentle, too. At our intake back in August, the vet even sat on the floor with our dog to get to know him better :) I love that they’re open on the weekend and even offer a later schedule on one of their weekdays.

This was such a fun place to get our dog’s energy out ! There were lots of friendly dogs and dog owners, and we all had a great time getting to know each other and playing with our pups. Not a lot of trees or scenery around, but I’d think this would be good for the summers to mitigate ticks and other bugs from getting on your dog. My only real complaint is that I wish it had a location to wash our dog’s paws off after he got all muddy running around with his new friends.

Biased because our dog is on the cover … ;) but also, what a sweet space and staff !!! Plenty of privacy from the foot traffic on Mass, too. 10/10 will be coming back here !

Oh my GOSH this spot is a dog owners dream. Pet friendly indoor seating, comfy furniture, board games, hot coco/coffee/other drinks, and pure vibes at every glance. We will 100% be coming back !!!

Popped in on a rainy day looking for a covered place to socialize our pup. The staff were incredibly sweet and made sure we felt welcome. Next time we’ll have to make sure to grab him one of their pup cups (they look so fun!)

LOVE the food and the drinks that they offer here. The only downside is that there is very little outdoor seating … but they’re doing the best that they can with the sidewalk space they have. It’s a fun spot to chill with your pup if the spot is open !

We had a Fourth of July picnic with our little guy at the fenced in portion by the entrance! He loved playing with the toys that other dogs / owners generously left :) fair warning, though, this part of the park gets VERY muddy… so if it’s rained recently I would recommend preparing for a bath as soon as you get home. (Luckily, there’s a hose over by the agility area so we got *most* of the mud off before leaving) Nonetheless, we had a great time and can’t wait to come back!

We’ve always loved the Roost, but the kind and dog-loving staff who brought our pup something to drink made our visit that much more lovely :) definitely would recommend to any dog/owner ♥️

As far as pup cups go, I like what sonic gives our dog. It’s got a wider lip which is nice, so it’s not difficult for him to lick all the dog-friendly ice cream without making a huge mess. It was a nice place to stop on a hot day !

We loved our afternoon spent on the Nelson’s front lawn ! It’s lovely place to people / dog watch. When we went, there was plenty of shade and lots of friendly people asking to pet our dog. Be sure to bring some water for your furry friend, though, because it can still be toasty even in the shade. It’s a great place to socialize and get used to being around lots of people.

as far as dog friendly goes, they were great ! The wait-staff was friendly and excited to see our little guy. However, I must warn you that if you sit at the long table outside, there is no table service … meaning that you have to order from the bar and are limited to only appetizers (no access to main courses, even though the other tables outside get full table service…). All in all, great food and drinks ! We just wish we could have also enjoyed some schnitzel ;)

I would recommend sitting at one of the smaller tables so you can fully enjoy some authentic German lunch or dinner.

From treats to toys to food to pet care supplies — Lucky Dog has good recommendations and inventory to choose from. The people who work there are SO kind and helpful. We come here even just to visit and socialize our pup. I think it’s worth the stop, even if you’re just passing through town.

I have lived in Lawrence for quite a while now and have always LOVED seeing the sweet pups that come enjoy the patio at free state — so you can imagine it was a *must* for us and our new puppy once he was all vaccinated :) the staff were sweet to him, the other guests were fawning over him, and there’s even a large water dish outside for pups who need a drink while you dine ! Not to mention the food never disappoints 🙌🏼 I’d recommend this to anyone, but be sure your dog is chill with other pups being around because when the weather is nice there’s plenty on the patio !
