Best Western Wins Again!

Spacious location in Astoria's "Upper Town" with plenty of parking, access to the Riverwalk and the Riverwalk trolley line. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Our little gremlin was quite comfortable, and able to stay safely crated in the room while we shopped and enjoyed the sights. He was, however, kind of baffled by the long, loud conversations of the harbor seals down on the breakwater; they did not allow him to join the barking!

Nice stay

Clean and cozy ground floor room. Our dog headed directly to the dog bed by the fireplace and settled in for a nap. Staff were very kind and helpful.

Adequate

We chose Fidalgo Country Inn because they allow dogs and don't mind if you need to leave your dog in the room, crated, for short periods of time, which we did. The amenities for humans were a bit sparse. The room was in serous need of updates and better cleaning. The bed was very comfortable, though and we all slept well. They are a family-operated business, and I hope they can improve and survive.

Dog friendly!

Super easy reservation through BringFido. Genuinely friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable room, free breakfast, dog treats at the front desk. Dogs can stay in room alone if crated and quiet, which was a big help when we had events to attend.

Good stay

Great room with water view! Rooms recently updated and very nice. I did not mention the dog when we checked in, just to see if they would ask. They didn't. There was no offer of bowls, treats, towels, blankets, etc. for the dog. We always bring our own anyway, but I was curious to see if they were "welcoming" pets. I don't think front desk staff were even aware of BringFido guests. Good stay anyway. Hobart liked the water view from the deck!
